This year the theme is Children's Books and we chose the Rainbow Fish.
- You will be given a silver scale to wear at the event and a sea anemone that can be tied round your child's waist
- Each child will have their own fishing rod with a colourful fish and a jellyfish attached that they can carry throughout the parade. These have already been made at afterschool Art Club
- Some children will be on the float/trailer and others will be walking behind
10.15am Helpers to meet tractor and trailer at Asheridge Road, Chesham, HP5 2QD (location map below)
- Put the float decorations up
11-11.30am Judges will be walking along Asheridge Road to view all the floats.
11.15 to 11.30am Parents and children to meet at float on Asheridge Road
- The float will be located by the lorries on Asheridge Road
- Parents are very welcome to join the procession with the children.
- If you are dropping your child off please do not leave your child until they have been signed in by a teacher. - Please ensure your child has sunscreen on if it is sunny.
12noon Procession commences
1pm Procession finishes (location map below)
- If you are not joining us with the float please meet your child at 1pm at Water Meadow car park
(off St Mary’s Way, HP5 1LF).
- A member of staff will ensure your child is signed out to you or another adult known to the school.
PARKING
- Parking in Chesham will be extremely busy on the day
- Please allow plenty of time to park and get to the float
- Consider car pooling with another family
- Asheridge Road is roughly a 20 minute walk from Chesham Station
